I’m Linda, an Italian-born illustrator currently living my best life in London.
I specialise in creating whimsical, colourful illustrations for children's books, bringing characters to life in a way that sparks imagination and fosters a love for stories. My greatest passion is helping young readers develop a lifelong connection to books through art.
My Story
From an early age, I’ve been captivated by drawing and painting. I could easily lose myself for hours, immersed in watercolours or sketching away on stacks of paper, creating worlds from scratch.
After studying Fine Arts and Design, I spent several years working as a graphic designer at a design agency in Milan. But eventually, I decided to follow my childhood dream of becoming a professional illustrator. I honed this passion further by specializing in children's book illustration at the London Art College, and soon after, I took the leap into freelancing.
Since then, my work has been showcased in exhibitions in Naples (Italy) and Indonesia, and I've had the pleasure of collaborating with a range of independent authors and publishing houses. From time to time I also collaborate as designer and illustrator for creative agencies such as Central23 and iAmLearning. My love for children's education also led me to work as an Early Years Educator, where I gained valuable insights into how young minds think and learn. This diverse background allows me to create approachable, child-friendly illustrations that resonate with young readers, especially those who are just starting to explore books.
I love connecting with authors, learning about their vision for the story, and discovering what inspired them. The part of the creative process I enjoy most is designing characters and storyboards, where the story truly begins to take shape. I’m passionate about representing diverse cultures and backgrounds in my work, so that every child feels seen and included. Bright colors, playful textures, and whimsical lighting are my go-to tools for crafting vibrant, imaginative illustrations.

My job is my passion and sometimes that means late-night sketching or weekend painting sessions. I pour my heart into every project because I can't imagine doing anything else that brings me more joy.

I create gentle, story-rich illustrations using gouache, watercolour, and coloured pencils, blending soft textures and carefully chosen colour palettes to evoke calm, wonder, and emotion. Each piece is crafted with care.
I’m a versatile designer specialising in packaging, logo creation, print design, marketing materials, and editorial layout. With a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of storytelling, I craft visuals that are not only beautiful, but purposeful.
